Social Worker

• Job Summary Provide appropriate intervention to patients and their families in an effort to assist them in understanding, accepting and adhering to recommendations of the health care team in order to achieve an optimal level of health and rehabilitation.
• Education Master’s degree required from an accredited school of social work.
• Experience Experience in a hospital or health setting preferred.
• Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries Master’s level social worker must be licensed (LMSW) by the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners.
