Description

We are looking for a reliable and innovative Lead DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in cloud computing and scripting and a thorough understanding of CI/CD principles.

In this leadership role, you will shape the future of our DevOps practices, promote a culture of collaboration, and implement innovative solutions to optimize our software development lifecycle.

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will drive team in improving our operations environment to ensure optimal performance, including CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and cloud computing. In addition, you would apply innovative problem-solving to automate workflows and maximize the operational efficiency of our software engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Setting up collaborations with the software development team to ensure software and systems interoperability
• Developing team of talented DevOps engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring they have the resources to excel
• Designing and implementing reliable cloud solutions along with service-oriented architectures
• Implementing industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
• Developing and enhancing CI/CD processes for applications and infrastructure with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or an equivalent
• Developing and maintaining logging, monitoring and alerting solutions to track system health and security
• Ensuring systems' availability, performance, scalability, and security are up to standard

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef or Puppet), containerization technologies (Docker, Kebernetes), and scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.)
• Proven experience leading and motivating a DevOps team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
• Hands-on in logging and monitoring tools (any of Prometheus / Grafana / Splunk / ELK / Graylog / NewRelic / AppDynamics / Dynatrace / Datadog / Zabbix or similar)
• Understanding of networking and security architectures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying bottlenecks and developing creative solutions to automate workflows and optimize efficiency
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
• English level of B2 and higher
