Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in inpatient or outpatient environments and create tailored treatment protocols
• Implement physical therapy techniques that promote mobility, strength, equilibrium, and functional movement
• Work in harmony with nurses, doctors, case managers, and additional rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and families about therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and home exercise regimens
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress while adhering to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary care team discussions to ensure seamless, coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Clinical Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications, such as in neurology or geriatrics, are a bonus but not a prerequisite

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly preferred
