As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies within the healthcare location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with any security-related issues that arise in the healthcare environment.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site policies.Assist with access control by verifying identification and / or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the healthcare facility.Support emergency response efforts by coordinating with site staff and first responders as needed.Minimum Requirements
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.At least one year of security-related experience is required.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
