As a Security Guard - Armed Commercial Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with tenants and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any unusual circumstances.
  • Observe and report any security-related concerns, hazards, or incidents, documenting details as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
  • Interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff, offering assistance and information as needed.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the property.
  • Remain alert to environmental conditions and report maintenance or hazard-related issues to the appropriate parties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
