Travel Nursing Job Details Location : North Charleston, South Carolina (29406) - South Carolina nursing jobs Healthcare Setting : Ambulatory / Inpatient - 23-Hour Observation Unit Assignment Type : Travel RN contract Start Date : January 5, 2026 End Date : April 6, 2026 Duration : 13-week travel assignment Shift : 3x12-hour night shifts (Monday-Thursday, 5 : 00pm-5 : 30am) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1530-$1570 Patient Population : Adults and Pediatrics Unit Census : 5 beds, low daily census Scrub Color : Royal or Navy Blue Charting System : Epic EMR Registered Nurse Qualifications Active South Carolina or Compact State RN license (required prior to start) Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Stepdown RN or Observation Unit nursing experience Certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all required) Previous travel nurse experience required Proficiency with Epic charting system Ability to float within scope to sister healthcare facilities as needed Strong clinical assessment, patient teaching, and critical thinking skills Completion of all compliance and orientation requirements prior to start Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a 23-hour observation and cardiac stepdown setting Monitor cardiac and post-surgical patients, administer medications, and perform comprehensive assessments Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including pharmacy and clinical support staff Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient care coordination Provide patient education, discharge planning, and ensure safe transitions of care Float to sister healthcare facilities as needed to support patient care demands Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Experience the best of South Carolina healthcare jobs while making a difference in North Charleston.
