Experienced Trim Carpenter

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Trim Carpenter to install, repair, and maintain woodwork such as moldings, baseboards, doors, window casings, and other trim elements in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities :

Install and finish trim elements such as baseboards, crown molding, door and window casings, wainscoting, and more.

Measure and cut trim pieces to fit perfectly.

Work from blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.

Ensure a high level of quality and precision in all work performed.

Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.

Maintain and repair existing trim and woodwork as needed.

Ensure all work is compliant with building codes and safety regulations.

Keep work areas clean and organized.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a trim carpenter.

Proficiency with carpentry tools, including saws, drills, and measuring instruments.

Strong knowledge of materials, techniques, and procedures involved in trim carpentry.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must be able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather as required.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working on both residential and commercial projects.

Knowledge of custom trim design and installation.

Basic knowledge of construction safety standards.
