JOB DESCRIPTION

Flexjet is currently seeking a Junior iOS SDET for our mobile applications. The Junior iOS SDET analyzes the functionality of our iOS mobile applications and designs automated tests to validate their reliability. Completes development, execution, and documentation of test plans and scripts. Assists non-QA resources in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Create automation tests by analyzing user stories, acceptance criteria, creating initial test designs, writing scripts, adhering to the established automation testing protocols, and reporting results.

Develop a repeatable process for designing, developing, and executing scripts.

Conduct tests, document, and analyze test results, and present findings to development teams.

Preparing reports on all aspects related to software testing carried out.

Participating in project meetings including Agile / Scrum grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups.

Collaborate within an agile software development process with software engineers, subject matter experts and stakeholders.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Understanding and knowledge of software engineering concepts and methodologies.

Understanding of test cases and negative, positive and regression testing.

2+ years in iOS mobile application development using Swift

2+ years of experience of developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts

Experience with XCUITest

Knowledge of industry best practices for manual, automation and load testing.

Knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and unit testing.

Experience with system / platform integrations and the ability to work cross-functionally.
