About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with CompHealth to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Sterling, Illinois, 61081!

You will enjoy working in Sterling with its tight-knit, family-friendly community, excellent education opportunities, and terrific facilities. The Rock River provides plenty of summertime fun for the boater, skier, paddler, or fisherman. There are five golf courses in the immediate area, one of which is operated by the Sterling Park District. It is just an hour drive to the Quad Cities and Rockford, and an hour and a half from Chicago.

  • Hospital-employed position; 5 days of CME with a $4k stipend
  • Loan repayment and a sign-on bonus; $10k for relocation assistance
  • Join 2 MDs and 3 APPs; fellowship required
  • Flexible Monday through Friday schedule with a call of 1 : 3
  • Bread and butter GI; ERCP preferred
  • 70% scoping and 30% clinic; malpractice coverage with tail
  • Must be board certified or board eligible; negotiable PTO
