Position Summary : Senior System Engineer at OrthoNebraska is pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing the hospital's IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operation and support for clinical and administrative activities. This role involves leading the deployment of complex systems, managing system integrations, and resolving advanced technical issues. The Senior Systems Engineer works closely with IT and clinical teams to enhance system performance, ensure data security, and support the hospital's mission to provide exceptional care.

Position Requirements

Education : Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Licensure : N / A

Certification : VMWare and Microsoft Certifications preferred.

Experience :

• 7+ years of System Engineering experience required.
• Experience & knowledge with Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Horizon VDI, VMware vSphere, and VM Server & SAN Hardware preferred.

Essential Job Functions

Physical requirements : This position is classified as Medium Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
