Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions independently or collaboratively with attending physicians
• Providing education to patients and their families about prevention strategies, wellness practices, and disease management techniques
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with your scope of practice
• Ensuring continuous patient care through follow-ups and chronic disease management
• Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive care
• Accurately documenting all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain these within 90 days)
