About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced

Accounting Consultant

for a

temporary assignment

to assist with year-end financial close and reporting. This short-term role is critical for ensuring accurate reconciliations, compliance with accounting standards, and timely preparation of financial statements.

Tasks & Responsibilities - End of Year Accounting Consultant :

Perform account reconciliations and review general ledger for accuracy

Assist with year-end close processes and adjusting journal entries

Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for audit or tax purposes

Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies

Collaborate with internal staff and external auditors as needed

Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data

Provide recommendations for process improvements

Qualifications - End of Year Accounting Consultant :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

5+ years of accounting experience, including year-end close

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Excel

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
