Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Recent LPN Graduates – Monroeville, PA 15146
- Location : On-site, Monroeville, PA 15146
- Status : Full-Time
- Flexible Shifts : Choose from three 12-hour shifts per week, available between 7 AM-7 PM or 7 PM-7 AM. Each scheduling period includes 6-night shifts and 6 weekend shifts, with additional compensation for off-shift work.
- Starting Pay Range : $22.17 – $26.00 per hour as a new hire
- Performance-Based Growth : Pay increases can be earned, after hire, through continuous learning and performance-based increases up to $35.00 per hour (maximum for the LPN role).
- Generous Sign-On Bonuses (Two-Year Commitment) :
New Graduates : $7,500

Core Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions as a crucial member of the healthcare team, exercising sound nursing judgment within their scope of practice under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Nurse (RN).
Core Duties :
Patient Care : Provide direct and patient-focused care based on focused assessments and unit-specific patient populations.Treatment Implementation : Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other treatments.Medication Administration : Safely administer prescribed oral, topical, and injectable medications. Completion of the IV therapy curriculum is required within 4 months of hire / transfer.Monitoring & Communication : Closely monitor patient status, anticipate potential issues, and communicate significant changes (deterioration, instability, or non-response to therapy) immediately to the RN and healthcare team.Documentation : Complete comprehensive and accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) to ensure clear communication between caregivers.Immediately seek instruction and supervision when implementing new or unfamiliar nursing practices or when patient care needs exceed the LPN's knowledge, skill, or ability.Minimum Required Qualifications, Education, and Licensure
Required Education :
Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program approved by the State Board of Nursing.Required Licensure & Certifications :
Current LPN license in the state of practice or a multistate license under the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC).Experience & Competencies :
0–2 years of nursing experience (New graduates are welcome).Completion of IV therapy curriculum required within 4 months of hire / transfer.Note : Graduates from 2012 onward typically have IV therapy included in their PA-approved programs.
Must be able to accept assignments at the top of the LPN license in Med / Surg, Telemetry, or Emergency Department settings.Ability to provide age-appropriate care and demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning.
