A company is looking for a Database Security Specialist to support government clients in securing databases across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Review and remediate database scan findings, including vulnerabilities and hardening
Provide recommendations for security configuration baselines and approved database versions
Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with security requirements and assist in process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or 10 years of experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator for Oracle and / or Postgres databases
Database certification such as Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional or similar
5 years of experience with cloud-based environments and troubleshooting database security settings
3 years of experience using Tenable.io for reviewing scan results and creating reports
