As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Rounds in Overland Park, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents within the healthcare environment to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and monitor entry points as required by site-specific guidelines.
  • Support Allied Universal and healthcare staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and / or observations as required by the site and Allied Universal policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
