Baptist Health is currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II to join our dynamic Lab team at Baptist Health Jacksonville. This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with cutting-edge technology.

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist II with Baptist Health, you'll play a key role in performing and overseeing a variety of testing procedures, including:

• Chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, hematology, and some serology
• Operating Beckman instruments and our automation line for chemistry, hematology, and coagulation
• Collaborating with a close-knit team of 7-8 Medical Technologists and four Specimen Processors
• Serving as General Supervisor and acting as Charge Technologist when needed
• Assisting with onboarding and training new employees and students

You'll also be responsible for maintaining technical records, ensuring quality control, and supporting lab operations with minimal supervision.

• This candidate is required to be licensed as a Medical Technologist in the State of Florida and in the areas of Chemistry and Hematology.
• License note: Candidates licensed prior to 1997 are not required to have certification per the State of Florida Licensure Rules.
