Position Summary : The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) provides directsupport to licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in the screening, treatment anddocumentation of speech and language disorders. The SLPA works under the supervision of alicensed SLP, assisting in delivery of speech therapy services to individuals of varying ages whomay have speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLPA plays a crucial role inimplementing therapy plans, providing individualized interventions, and supporting the overallgoals of the therapy team.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CDIS)

Experience :

Previous experience working as an SLPA or SLPA extern to SLPA path

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc. :

Possess or ability to obtain and maintain an Oklahoma Teacher Certification in SpeechLanguage Pathologist Assistant

Possess or ability to obtain and maintain an ASHA certificate and OBESPA Licensure
