Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

A company is looking for a senior cybersecurity engineer for its Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC).

Key Responsibilities

Detect, assess, and respond to alerts and incidents

Create custom detections aligned to the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and perform in-depth investigations on various operating systems

Act as a mentor for SOC engineers and collaborate with security leadership to execute security strategies

Required Qualifications and Education

5+ years of experience in an information technology discipline

4+ years of security operations experience

Deep technical understanding of modern cybersecurity threats

Proficient in programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Powershell, or Java

Basic understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements such as SOX and PCI
