Job Title : PLC Engineer

Location : Waukesha, Wisconsin

Position Type : FTE / Permanent

Position Summary : Job Description :

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Computers / Math / Science from an accredited institution or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting with troubleshooting equipment background.

Experience in software such as Visual Basic / Studio, SQL, and other Microsoft applications.

Experience with Rockwell Software (RS and Factory Talk), RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View ME, FactoryTalk SE, VB6,

NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand

Experience with PLC, HMI programming and safety systems design.

Fundamental knowledge of electrical equipment at component and integrated system levels.

Demonstrated ability to interpret and trouble shoot electrical control, protection, instrumentation, and metering schematics and wiring diagrams

Ability to interpret, suggest and resolve equipment or installation issues with multiple and varied electrical contractors.

Experience in electrical testing procedures and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications :

• 5 years trouble shooting equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Demonstrated ability to interpret regulation and standards, and implementing Electrical Safe Work practices such NFPA 70E.

Experience supporting Engineered to Order (ETO) manufacturing plant.

Demonstrated ability to work with little direction and effectively operate in a team-oriented environment.
