A global leader in energy management and automation is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is a 6-month contract and is a hybrid schedule requiring minimum 3 days onsite at the Andover, MA location, 8AM-5PM, so local candidates are a must.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4 Year Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Good understanding of control electronic Products, specifically analog and digital circuits, and power electronics circuits with 8-10 years of experience.
- Support qualification of electronic components such as IGBTs, Magnetics, Thyristors, AC / DC capacitors, FAN's, etc.
- Knowledge of test equipment, CRO, AC Source, DC Source, Auto transformers, Multimeters, Data loggers.
- Ability to design and implement PCB designs that meet electrical, EMC, Safety, mechanical, thermal and DFA / DFM requirements of the System.
- Ability to generate alternate solutions during feasibility studies during PCB modifications.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
Work within a global collaborative R&D team to create and improve printed circuit board designs using Cadence design systems (Allegro). (Other design systems are considered for this role.)Release projects to manufacturing by creating schematic design capture, new part numbers, detailed descriptions, and printed board assemblies (BOM structures) for new and legacy products or projects.Work within the Windchill PDM application tool to store fabrication documentation, schematics, gerber files etc.Work collaboratively with other engineering resources, project management, purchasing etc. and assist in applying core engineering concepts to solve complex, unfamiliar, and novel problems.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
