Career Strategies is now hiring a professional LEASING CONSULTANT for an apartment community in Colorado Springs
The LEASING CONSULTANT is the community’s sales representative whose primary duties are to greet clients, present features and benefits of their assigned community, and properly secure lease agreements from qualified persons. A LEASING CONSULTANT is very professional and strives to make current residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community.
Responsibilities:
· Greets prospected residents and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions; utilize completed guest cards, etc.)
· Immediately records all telephone and in-person visits on appropriate reports
· Files guest cards and maintain according to established procedures
· Resident and Vendor relations
· Distributes all company or community-issued notices
· Greets prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, and professionally presents community and benefits
· Ensures apartment is ready for the resident to move-in on the agreed date
· Assists management team with other various tasks as required
· Represents the company in a professional manner at all times
Requirements:
· Apartment leasing and fair housing experience is required
· LEASING CONSULTANTS will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
· Attendance is an imperative job function
· Yardi experience preferred
· Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
· Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
· Above average computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Sales and customer service skills
