What you will do:

• Act as a company advocate and embody the Sprinkles culture, serving as the Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of a manager.
• Demonstrate proficiency in adhering to company policies and procedures, and train with guidelines from managers.
• Host pre-shift meetings, manage shift expectations, and keep management informed of any issues, projects, improvements, changes, and contributions to Sprinkles experience.
• Lead by example and contribute to growing and improving the team by motivating Associates to work with attention to detail and at a fast pace during work.
• Delegate appropriate duties to Associates for bakery preparation for opening, order fulfillment, health inspection readiness, smooth shift operations, and closing duties to prepare for the next day.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and uniform guidelines to uphold a clean and safe work environment.
• Deliver exceptional Guest service by managing experiences and serving as a product expert, actively contributing to sales growth, monitoring Associate interactions, and responding to special requests, compliments, complaints, and issues.
• Provide real-time feedback to the team, offering praise and coaching opportunities.
• Ensure bakery environment and equipment are in good working order, reporting issues, and following up with resolutions.
• Conduct cupcake counts, communicate expectations to BOH Associates, and monitor efficiencies using timers, worksheets, and continuous follow-up.
• Validate that all products meet Sprinkles quality standards for flavor, consistency, size, and appearance, and are properly stored and rotated.
• Collaborate with trainers and management to ensure proper and timely training, including follow-up with new trainees.
• Crosstrain and fulfill responsibilities of a baker, froster, production, or FOH Associate.
• Attend manager meetings twice a month; respond to emails with proper etiquette.
• Accept and prepare deliveries.
• Assist managers with additional tasks, such as daily Manager checklist, inventory, and record-keeping, as requested.
• Attend scheduled shifts, meeting all position requirements for the duration of the shift.

Knowledge + Skills:

• Genuine passion for the Sprinkles products, brand, and overall experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management position for a restaurant or within the hospitality industry.
• Flexible to work a varying schedule, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage timers, and maintain a steady work pace.
• Effective verbal communication skills and can comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods of time, able to bend down for product, and capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, including cupcake trays, cupcake batter, frosting, and bags of boxes purchases.
