Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage business within a defined territory for residential construction and building materials customers. This role focuses on developing strong relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, and construction-focused businesses while driving profitable sales of products such as windows, doors, siding, roofing, decking, ADUs, and other residential building materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and manage relationships with builders, general contractors, remodelers, and residential construction professionals.
• Grow sales within an assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
• Conduct jobsite visits, perform product demonstrations, and provide technical product knowledge to customers.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with company goals for revenue, margin, and market share growth.
• Prepare quotes, bids, and proposals; assist customers with product selection and project planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, customer service, operations, logistics) to ensure accurate order fulfillment and excellent customer experience.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and customer activity tracking using a CRM.
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
• Stay current on building materials trends, product specifications, installation techniques, and competitive offerings.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
