Womens Health Nurse Practitioner

Health Center is seeking an experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join its talented team in Lancaster, CA.

Details:

• Full-time position
• Monday - Saturday, hours range from 7:30am-6:30pm
• Work hours will be forty (40) hours within the operating hours of the clinic
• Assess, diagnose, and treat the health care needs of women throughout their lives
• Provide health for women through routine exams and initiate all types of contraception
• Prescribe medications and treatments as needed by the patient(s)
• Work will entail developing a comprehensive history of physical exam in an accurate and timely manner, as well as developing and implementing a plan of care with the patient
• EMR: EPIC
  
• On occasion, travel may be required

Skills / Experience:

• A keen interest in helping the underserved population (e.g. the homeless population)
• FQHC experience a plus
• Familiarity with Quality Measures a plus
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus
