Aston Carter is working with a great client of ours who is looking to hire a Junior Tax Planner. The company offers Fridays off in the summer, 100% employer paid premium cost of medical / dental / vision, 401k match and much more! A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of tax preparation experience is required.

Responsibilities :

• Participate in client tax planning meetings, focusing on existing client maintenance and follow-up.
• Support senior planners in transitioning client relationships while building trust and rapport with clients.
• Assist with tax planning strategies that align with broader wealth management objectives.
• Prepare and review client tax returns and filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Conduct research on tax strategies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with advisors and tax leadership to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Engage in business development activities nurture leads, contribute to closing conversations, and help grow the firm's client base.
• Proactively identify opportunities to add value to client relationships and upsell additional planning services.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00 / yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
