Google Cloud Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Google Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead and execute a large-scale migration of cloud infrastructure and applications from AWS and Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments and deep expertise in GCP services, automation, and CI / CD practices. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, migration strategy planning, and the ability to map equivalent services across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement migration strategies for applications and workloads from AWS and Azure to GCP.
• Assess existing infrastructure and recommend optimal GCP solutions for compute, storage, networking, and application services.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows for provisioning, deployment, and monitoring using Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, and Artifact Registry.
• Ensure security and compliance during migration, leveraging Secret Manager, Cloud KMS, and IAM best practices.
• Optimize performance and cost by selecting appropriate GCP services and configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration and minimal downtime.
• Implement CI / CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for GCP environments.
• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
