Responsibilities

The Manager of Oncology Infusion and Pharmacy Services serves as a leader of Oncology pharmacy initiatives and contributes to the provision of high-quality services. Responsible for the purchasing, receipt and inventory of pharmaceuticals and controlled substances and implements / coordinates the drug control process within the Oncology Pharmacy departments and designated areas. Directs the development, implementation and evaluation of unit / department goals, objectives, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with patient care standards as published by The Joint Commission, CMS, and the California Department of Public Health Licensing and Certification Division. Manages staffing and scheduling functions to achieve department objectives, cost effective staffing and productivity targets. Collaborates with Inpatient Oncology Services to support high quality, cost-effective care throughout patients' plan of care.
