We are looking for a highly organized Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Rockland, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position offers flexible part-time hours (30-35 hours per week) and requires a detail-oriented individual to oversee comprehensive accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial management, alongside proficiency in Sage accounting software.
Responsibilities :
- Handle full-cycle bookkeeping processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Manage payroll operations, including timely processing and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain and oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Generate and review financial reports to provide accurate insights into company performance.
- Support human resources functions, including administrative tasks related to employee records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with management to streamline financial workflows and improve efficiency.
- Utilize Sage accounting software for day-to-day operations and reporting.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for audits and reporting purposes.
- Proven experience in full-charge bookkeeping and accounting operations.
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software is required.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial data.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and management.
