HSHS Medical Group is seeking an outpatient Family Medicine physician to join an established and very busy practice. We are able to support both J-1 and H1B visa needs at this location.

Work in a spacious clinic based on the campus of HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, Illinois . Located just 3 hours from Chicago and an hour from Champaign (home of University of Illinois.

Practice Highlights :

• Clinic hours Monday through Friday, potential to do 4 day workweeks.

• Attached to Good Shepherd Hospital. Good Shepherd is a 30-bed facility that provides emergency care, laboratory and imaging services in the Shelbyville community 24 / 7. The hospital features an advanced surgery department, inpatient care, rehabilitative therapy and a wide variety of outpatient services.

Compensation and Benefit Highlights :

Malpractice Insurance

Pay range : $300,000-$399,406 (inclusive of family and internal med)

Education Qualifications

Clinical doctorate is required.

Experience Qualifications

Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.

Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.

Must be board certified or board eligible.
