Job Summary :

The Trim / Folding Machine Helper supports the operation of trim and folding equipment by assisting with material preparation, machine setup, and quality inspections. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient workflows and the production of high-quality metal components while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Trim / Folding Machine Operator with loading and preparing materials for production.
  • Monitor the folding process to ensure proper operation and report issues or irregularities to the operator or supervisor.
  • Remove and inspect finished products for quality assurance, identifying defects or non-conformities.
  • Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of folding equipment to maintain optimal functionality.
  • Organize raw materials and finished products for storage or transportation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow workplace safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support additional production tasks as assigned by the operator or supervisor.

    • Requirements : Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (experience with folding machines is a plus).
  • Basic understanding of metal properties and production processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and handle heavy materials.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced production environment.

    • Physical and Environmental Requirements :

  • Frequent standing, bending, and lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular exposure to noise, heat, and airborne particles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to wear required protective gear, such as gloves, goggles, and steel-toed boots.
