Entry Level Architect

Self Storage Consulting Group (SSCG) a Real Estate Development company is a leading provider of real estate development. SS Architecture, LLC is a subsidiary and in-house architectural design arm of SSCG.

Functions :

Preparing detailed drawings showing both the appearance and interior structure of a building project

Visiting building worksites to ensure work is being done according to architectural plans

Developing and giving presentations to inform the public about upcoming building projects

Qualifications :

Ability to work with architectural software to create building plans

Excellent attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to large groups

Written and verbal communication skills

Willing and able to obtain California registration

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment

such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and large-scale printers.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an

employee to successfully preform the essential functions of this job : Ability to navigate safely

through construction site obstacles such as : Trenches, roof hatches, enclosed spaces, and high

ladders as necessary.

Educational Requirements :

Microsoft Office : Intermediate

Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Revit

Master Degree in Architecture required
