Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34 / hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY : ​The Home Care Aide is under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physical Therapist / Occupational Therapist and in accordance with a plan of treatment to provide personal care and emotional comfort to patients in a variety of settings. The Home Care aide travels to patient homes and provides in-home care to assigned patients daily. The care provided must be age appropriate and the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the patients are to be met.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : High School / GED

Licenses / Certifications : CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant

Other Licenses / Certifications : Valid Drivers License in current status

Provide own insurance and transportation

BLS Certification from the American Heart Association

Other skills / knowledge : Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
