We are seeking an experienced, highly talented, and a private company or contractor with extensive experience withForeign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI). The FSO is a designated Key Management Position (KMP) by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and acts as the primary liaison with the DCSA, our President, and Board of Directors to ensure compliance with national security regulations.
Core Responsibilities :
The Director of Securitys primary duties are to manage all aspects of security and information protection within the facility and set policy and prepare guidance in the management and execution of physical, personnel, information, and industrial programs. The position with author and modernize physical security plans, procedures and instructions for the protection of classified and sensitive information. The director will oversee the development and execution of a tiered security education plan for both cleared and uncleared employees. This position will pursue and carry-out the requirements levied by the Cognizant Security Agency and Offices and maintain a seamless working relationship with government agencies. The security director will create a secure environment for employees, vendors, and government partners while maintaining detailed working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and, its Operating Manual. Expert knowledge in DISS, e-QIP, SWFT, and NISS applications are required. The security director will oversee all aspects and process of T3 and T5 personnel security investigations from initiation through adjudication, to include DCID 6 / 4 eligibility and direct, manage and perform access control responsibilities, to include creating and managing badge databases, access cards, visit requests and visit letters.

Technology Control Plans (TCPs) : Outlining measures to protect classified and export-controlled information.
The Director of Security / FSO role is critical for a company under FOCI to continue performing on DoD and other federal contracts involving access to sensitive or classified information. This role reports to the President of Schneider Electric Federal, Inc.
