Financial Analyst III
As a Financial Analyst III at SonderMind, you'll contribute to our core FP&A activities by supporting financial reporting, planning, and analysis across the business. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you'll partner with senior analysts and business stakeholders to deliver insights that help inform strategic and operational decisions. What You'll Do
- Build and maintain core financial and operational reporting to surface key trends across revenue, OPEX, and company performance metrics
- Act as a key finance partner to assigned teams or functions by supporting the annual budget and forecast processes, and conducting variance analysis across OPEX, revenue, and personnel
- Lead and execute various strategic and ad-hoc financial analyses to support business initiatives, operational improvements, and executive requests
- Participate in key planning cycles, including annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying, proposing, and implementing FPA process enhancements, automation opportunities, and leveraging emerging technologies
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data used in all reports and analyses, and partner effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment and consistent reporting

24 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical roleStrong Excel / Sheets skills with a strong understanding of financial modeling principlesAnalytical mindset with a high attention to detail and a curiosity to understand the "why" behind the numbersDemonstrated curiosity with AI concepts, with an interest or experience with their practical application to the day-to-day of FP&A.Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment with evolving processesClear communicator with a collaborative mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Looker) or financial systems (e.g., NetSuite) is a plusOur Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, and past performance. In addition to base salary, this position may also be eligible for a variable bonus and equity.
