About the Role :

The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in supporting healthcare professionals by providing direct patient care and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position involves assisting with clinical tasks such as monitoring vital signs, drawing blood, and performing phlebotomy procedures, which are essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment. The technician also helps maintain infection control standards to prevent the spread of disease within healthcare settings. Additionally, the role requires effective communication with patients and healthcare teams to facilitate smooth patient registration and ongoing monitoring, particularly in specialized areas such as dialysis. Ultimately, the Patient Care Technician contributes to delivering high-quality patient care and improving overall patient outcomes through diligent and compassionate support.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Patient Care Technician or equivalent credential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
