About The Position

Shift : Night - 8x5 - 04PM

Description :

Perform routine and special radiographic procedures, ensuring proper positioning and patient safety.

Assist physicians during procedures and provide clinical instructions to students.

Process images, maintain PACS / RIS systems, and document appropriately.

Maintain equipment, perform QA / calibration, and order supplies as needed.

Educate and communicate with patients / families regarding exams.

Participate in on-call, overtime, holidays, and shift coverage as needed to ensure safe operations.

Ensure compliance with hospital standards, radiation safety guidelines (ACR Image Wisely / Gently), and regulatory requirements.

Provide professional, courteous service and uphold hospital behavioral standards.

Experience : Graduate of accredited radiography program; prior hospital or ambulatory imaging experience preferred

License : NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required

Certifications : ARRT(R) required; DOH IV certification preferred; BLS (AHA) required within 90 days

Must-Have : Strong imaging skills across patient populations (neonate to geriatric), ability to travel between White Plains, Yonkers, and Hawthorne ambulatory practices
