Summary :

Join our dedicated team where you will provide essential care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. You will adhere to established standards and practices while performing various lab procedures as needed.

Responsibilities :

• Exemplify OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Perform basic patient care duties under physician direction, including obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens (including phlebotomy as applicable).
• Support provider(s) during patient examinations and treatments, ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Manage phone communications, record messages, and assist provider(s) with patient-related inquiries.
• Help with scheduling tests, managing results, and obtaining necessary pre-certifications.
• Document all relevant patient information accurately.
• Facilitate medication refills in collaboration with provider(s).
• Administer medications and immunizations as per provider orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, ensuring equipment is cleaned according to policy. Order supplies from the stock department as necessary while maintaining sterile techniques.
• Perform routine clerical tasks, including locating patient charts, filing, and completing routine forms.
• Attend and complete all required meetings and in-service training sessions, and take on additional duties as assigned.
