Job Summary :
As an Event Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our events. Your responsibilities will include adhering to security protocols, building relationships with attendees, local law enforcement, and emergency services, while showcasing outstanding customer service. Always maintain a vigilant awareness of your surroundings to ensure a safe environment for all.
Basic Functions :
- Control access points and manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
- Perform routine patrols of the venue and its surroundings.
- Help escort materials and personnel as needed.
- Inspect security measures and fire safety equipment.
- Carry out special assignments as required.
Responsibilities :

Arrive on time and wear the complete uniform at all times.Maintain a professional demeanor and greet clients, visitors, and employees warmly.Stay informed about any updates to security protocols and general event information.Execute thorough patrols or maintain post vigilance, reporting any unusual activities and responding to incidents.Continuously monitor security cameras and equipment as required.Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures to effectively respond to alarms and crises.Complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and other relevant documentation accurately.Propose improvements to safety and loss prevention measures based on observations.Understand life safety systems, including fire panels, CCTV systems, and elevators; ensure they are operational and safe.Meet training and compliance guidelines as set by the organization.Communicate regularly with your supervisor regarding security concerns or changes.Skills and Abilities :
