Responsibilities :
- Defending clients in a broad range of employment-related claims
- Investigating claims and defenses, analyzing liability and damages, and developing case handling strategies
- Conducting legal research and analysis
- Drafting letters, memos, motions, and pleadings
- Preparing discovery request / responses and taking / defending depositions
- Representing clients at court conferences, hearings, mediations, and trial / arbitration
- Regularly communicating with partners, associates, paralegals, clients, and opposing counsel
- 1850 billable hours
