The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of our Operations Technology transformation key strategic priorities. This highly visible position is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing cross-functional initiatives that directly contribute to the company's growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, results-oriented leader with a proven track record of managing complex projects, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and translating strategic vision into actionable plans.

Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 required onsite days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week. This role will work the required onsite days at our Equifax office in Saint Louis, MO (Lackland). This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support. This position is not open to third-party vendors or C2C.

What you'll do

• Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of critical strategic initiatives from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and success metrics.
• Drive and support financial planning ensuring rigorous budget adherence
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration, coordinating efforts across departments such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to achieve shared objectives.
• Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and internal data analysis to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
• Develop compelling business cases, financial models, and presentations to secure buy-in from senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership on emerging trends, potential disruptions, and areas for innovation.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for strategic initiatives, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on initiative progress, challenges, and outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to align teams, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process optimization within strategic initiatives and across the organization using AI / ML, hyper automation toolsets.
• Implement best practices in project management, change management, and continuous improvement.
• Establish frameworks and tools to track the impact and ROI of strategic initiatives focused on Operations technology transformation and cost optimization.
