Controller

Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a growing organization in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will lead a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while providing strategic financial insights to drive business success.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage a team of 8 accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes for both entities.
• Ensure the integrity of the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Facilitate the annual audit process and maintain relationships with external accounting partners.
• Provide hands-on support for daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and fixed assets.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability.
• Implement and improve internal controls and accounting processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Deliver actionable financial insights to support decision-making and profitability enhancements.
• Collaborate with operational leadership to align financial strategies with business goals.
• Evaluate and provide financial input on new business opportunities, capital projects, and growth initiatives.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
