Hostess / Front-of-House Greeter – Sushi Restaurant

Pay : $[20 hourly- 25 hourly] + Tips

Job Summary

We are seeking a warm, professional, and organized Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. As a sushi restaurant hostess, you will set the tone for the dining experience by providing a friendly welcome, managing reservations, and maintaining smooth guest flow in a fast-paced, high-quality dining environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival

Manage reservations and walk-in waitlist using our booking system

Escort guests to tables and provide menus

Maintain accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests

Coordinate closely with servers and management to ensure smooth seating

Answer phone calls, take reservations, and handle guest inquiries

Maintain a clean and organized front entrance and host stand

Assist with to-go orders when needed

Provide exceptional customer service at all times

Qualifications

Prior hosting or restaurant experience preferred (not required)

Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills

Professional appearance and reliability

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and organization

Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

Team-oriented with a customer-first mindset
