Overview
We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to run the full accounting cycle for active construction projects in the Hunters Point area. This role manages AP / AR, job cost tracking, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. You’ll keep financial records accurate, maintain cash flow, and deliver clear reporting for leadership and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, code to correct projects and cost categories, and manage approvals.
- Handle AP / AR, client invoicing, draw requests, and payment scheduling.
- Maintain project job costing, daily logs, reconciliations, and variance reporting.
- Prepare draw packages, submit to lenders / clients, and track disbursements.
- Produce monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow reports, and project-close summaries.
- Reconcile loan accounts, vendor balances, retainage, and project cash flow.
- Maintain compliance, document storage, SOP adherence, and audit-ready records.

Qualifications
3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (construction preferred).Strong job cost accounting experience and knowledge of draw cycles.Proficient with QuickBooks, BuilderTrend (or similar), and Excel.High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.Clear communicator; strong coordination with PMs, vendors, and clients.
