Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,720 - $1,840\n

Location : Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 (Alabama healthcare jobs)\n

Assignment Type : Travel RN contract\n

Unit : Trauma Surgical (Med / Surg Telemetry)\n

Start Date : December 8, 2025\n

End Date : March 9, 2026\n

Duration : 13-week travel nursing assignment\n

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)\n

Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours / week available)\n

Schedule : Every other weekend and holidays as required\n

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week\n

Dress Code : Solid Navy scrubs\n

Parking : On-site parking available\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required\n

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses)\n

Current AHA BLS certification\n

Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred; will consider candidates with at least 18 months of experience, including 1 year in Med / Surg Telemetry\n

Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed\n

Experience with Meditech EMR preferred\n

\n\nMed / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities\n \n

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to trauma, orthopedic, and urology patients in a fast-paced surgical unit\n

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including family practice physicians, hospitalists, and surgical specialists\n

Maintain a 1 : 6 nurse-to-patient ratio for optimal patient care\n

Float to other units and hospitals as required to meet patient care needs\n

Accurately document care and interventions using Meditech EMR\n

Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards\n
