Program Manager III
We are looking for a highly motivated Program Manager III to join the Business, Customer, and Marketing Analytics Team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating business insights that contribute to partners across the company. This role will work with other analytics teams and program managers to lead strategic support for assigned processes and ad hoc requests. This position will be required to provide an integrated point of view of business, customer, and marketing performance, leveraging internal and external sources. In addition, this role will support the development of business analytics and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and solve any gaps in analytical processes and reporting.
Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic guidance by delivering actionable insights that contribute to leadership and key partner teams.
- Act as a conduit to integrate strategic insights, generate hypotheses; act as single-point-of-contact for cross-functional partners.
- Understand and activate business impact levers (promotions, price, product, customer, etc); along with leveraging 3rd party competitive landscape tools, customer behavior metrics, and data science models.
- Serve as an analytics team point of contact for special projects and other initiatives.
- Lead collaboration with business partners, including 3rd parties, to identify gaps in analytical processes and reporting.
- Problem solve with various other teams to fill gaps influence decision making throughout the business, which often requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Effectively synthesize and communicate complex data and analyses via effective written documents and presentations.

5+ years of program or project management experienceExperience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsExperience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipBachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Analytical Business Specialty, Marketing Research or commensurate retail experiencePreferred Qualifications :
Experience with working with market syndicated data (e.g. Nielsen, Numerator), shopper insights solutions, visual analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau) and Microsoft Excel, familiarity with data basics, structure, and relationships.Project Management experience and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.Knowledge of retail business to include all aspects of pricing, merchandising, retail operations, financial operations, profitability drivers, and reporting.Experience querying data from large enterprise databases and developing new code to answer complex business questions.Experience leveraging data science models to derive insights.Ability to travel on occasion.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
