Office Profile : The Division of University Advancement is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of external communications and all fundraising and friendraising activities, including alumni & family relations and church & community relations. University Advancement is an integral part of the university's ministry and outreach. Fundraising activities support academic programs, capital projects, athletics, endowments and student aid.
Role : The Engagement Coordinator, Part-Time supports the mission of Concordia University Irvine (a comprehensive Lutheran Christian university guided by Christ's Great Commission, develops wise, honorable, and cultivated citizens to serve society and the church) and, specifically, the mission of University Advancement (To increase awareness, engagement, and philanthropy to support a diverse community of wise, honorable, and cultivated citizens). These efforts include the advancement of meaningful connections with alumni, parents, donors, and friends. This role plays a key part in strengthening engagement with these constituents through event coordination, communication support, volunteer stewardship, and administrative assistance. The Engagement Coordinator ensures that constituents feel informed, appreciated, and connected to the University's mission and strategic priorities.

Education and / or Experience :
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
