Production Machine Operator

🚀 What You’ll Do

As a Production Operator, you will be trained to run a variety of extrusion equipment while ensuring smooth and safe production operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate and inspect extrusion equipment, ensuring all controls function safely.

Pull materials from inventory and report damaged or missing items.

Set up machines according to production orders and technical drawings.

Monitor product quality and adjust machinery as needed.

Label and pack finished materials following work order instructions.

Retrieve samples for quality assurance checks.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.

Report safety concerns or potential hazards to leadership.

Wear necessary PPE, including a respirator during machine setup.

🔧 What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of experience in heavy labor, machine operation, construction, or carpentry.

Strong attendance record and work ethic.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Team-player mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills :

Mechanical aptitude and basic power tool skills.

Ability to learn quickly and follow procedures with patience.

Basic proficiency using Microsoft Office.

Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally.

Stable work history (good job tenure is a plus).

🏭 Work Environment

You’ll be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing floor producing vacuum bagging and composite tooling materials. Safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement are core to our culture.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.75 - $22.75 / hr.
