As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control in Wilder, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor entrances, check badges, and help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the location.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain access control in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities.
  • Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific policies.
  • Support emergency response activities and assist in implementing evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
