Position Summary / Career Interest :
Under the direction of the Sterile Processing Manager The Sterile Processing Technician Program Trainee is an unlicensed staff member who is accountable to / completes delegated tasks from a Sterile Processing Technician in a caring and culturally sensitive manner with excellent customer service at all times. Demonstrates competence in the areas of critical thinking interpersonal relationships and technical skills related to delegated tasks. After competency validation assists the Sterile Processing Technician in the processing of instrumentation utilized in the operating room and ancillary areas according to regulatory standards and appropriate internal standards. Tasks may include (but are not limited to) : assembly of trays inventory of instruments transport of instrumentation assembly of peel-packed instrumentation and other duties as assigned. The Sterile Processing Technician Program Trainee provides a customer-focused service to all Health System team members leadership and medical staff and to the patients / visitors.
Sterile Processing Technician Program will start January 19 2026
Shift : 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm Monday-Friday. Clinical schedule will vary based on department availability. Very important to be present.
