Job Description

Client Summary :

  • Platform : Innovative SaaS solution focused on reducing drug spending.
  • Approach : Physician-first, seamless EHR integration with no additional clicks or external programs / apps required.
  • Ease of Use : Simplified process within the normal clinical workflow.
  • PBM Compatibility : Supports PBM efforts by offering physicians the best, lowest-cost drug options.
  • Formulary Optimization : Establishes guidelines to influence prescribing behavior, lowering direct drug costs and overall spend.
  • Complementary : Enhances existing pharmacy initiatives and collaborates effectively with PBMs.
  • Scalability and Customization : Adaptable to meet each client's unique needs and formularies.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Leadership and Management : Lead and manage the Data and Analytics team (5-6 members) including managers.Oversee the Clinical team comprising pharmacists and prescribers.Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Data Expertise : Leverage pharmaceutical domain knowledge, including NDC codes, Medispan, and RxNorm and more.Utilize data from WK to build and enhance our systems.Understand and navigate the PBM ecosystem and pharmacy claims processing and adjudication.
  • Technical Proficiency : Use SQL to manipulate and manage data within our systems.Utilize programming skills and BI tools to analyze and report data.
  • Market Insight and Integration : Stay abreast of pharmaceutical market trends and insights.Engage in customer-facing activities including demos and integration discussions.Collaborate across the organization, with customers, and potential investors to drive business success.
  • KPIs and Performance : Develop and track key performance indicators to measure team and project success.Ensure data accuracy, precision, and excellence in all deliverables.

    • Experience & Skills :

    Required Experience and Qualifications :

  • Pharmaceutical Domain Expertise : Significant experience with pharmaceutical data, including NDC, Medispan, RxNorm.In-depth knowledge of the PBM ecosystem.Awareness and insight into the pharmaceutical market.Understanding of pharmacy claims processing and adjudication.
  • Management Experience : Proven experience at the director level managing clinical and analytics teams.Ability to manage managers and lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and storage.Familiarity with programming and popular BI tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Experience working across various organizations and engaging with customers and investors.
  • Cultural Fit : Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on accuracy, precision, and control.Conscientious and detail-oriented, striving for excellence.Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in small companies.
